+However, things change when Terra visits Deep Space and frees 626 with help from Dr. Jumba. Despite Jumba's insistence that 626's only purpose is destruction, 626 forms a bond of sorts with Terra and even makes himself a Good Luck charm similar to Terra's. 626 escapes while Jumba sets Experiment 221 on Terra. Later, Aqua visits Deep Space and comes into contact with 626, learning of his friendship with Terra and asking him to include her in his bond. 626 aids Aqua in the fight against Gantu, and adds Aqua to his bond. On Aqua's request, the Grand Councilwoman decides not to execute 626 for the time being, but as he is still quite unstable, she decides to banish him to a lifeless planet. As the ship prepares for departure, 626 escapes his holding cell and encounters Ventus, whom he helps destroy a massive Unversed which invaded the ship. With Ventus's help, 626 eludes Gantu once again and steals a police cruiser, using it to enter Hyperspace and escape at last.
-While unknown exactly how Terra, Ven, and Aqua contribute to Deep Space's storyline, recent scans have provided various hints. While Ventus is on board the spaceship holding Stitch captive, he aids the little alien in his escape from [[Gantu]], together fleeing from the guards the fish-like alien summons, also teaching Stitch how to understand human speech. Terra is also shown, unintentionally aiding Stitch's escape as well. At first battling Experiment 626's "cousin," [[Experiment 221]], Terra is also seen fighting off the blasters that are locked onto Stitch's genetic signature. On the trail of Terra and Ventus, Aqua also appears, Experiment 626 rescuing her from a currently unknown danger. The two battle Captain Gantu together, Stitch eventually stealing a red police cruiser as he did in the film, engaging its faulty hyperdrive to escape the alien police, and vanishing out of sight.
