| The '''''Black Pearl''''' is a fictional ship in the Disney movie trilogy, ''Pirates of the Caribbean''. Before it ever became the Pearl, it was the HMS ''Wicked Wench'', sailing under East India Trading Company command. Lord Cutler Beckett hired young [[Jack Sparrow]] as a privateer of the EITC, and gave Sparrow the Wicked Wench. Sparrow saw the Wench as a symbol of freedon. After a mishap over slave trade, Sparrow was branded a pirate and Beckett ordered his men to burn the ship. Jack made a deal with Davy Jones to raise the Wicked Wench from the depths. Jack would then captain her for thirteen years. In return, Sparrow sold his soul to Jones. After his thirteen years are up, it will be time to return the favor. Since the Wicked Wench was burned with blackened wood, Sparrow renamed the ship the Black Pearl. He then changed the sails to black and the wood to more black. After that, he picked up a crew in Tortuga and sailed and plundered. But while on course to [[Isla de Muerta]], Sparrow's first mate [[Captain Barbossa|Hector Barbossa]] started a mutiny and took the Pearl as its new captain. It replaced the ''Interceptor'', which was defeated by Barbossa, the [[Undead Pirates]] and a legion of [[Heartless]].

| [[Sora]], [[Donald]], and [[Goofy]] sail alongside Jack Sparrow on this ship after they defeat Barbossa on Isla de Muerta. When you visit [[Port Royal]] for the second time in story, and you have not been here since Barbossa, then it is known (like other places you haven't visited yet in any world) as a few question marks (???).
