Data-Riku is a boss who is fought in Kingdom Hearts coded and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.

Strategy

First Battle

First things first, Data Riku can be a very challenging boss. Despite his low HP, he can deal out very powerful attacks. You have to fight him 3 times before he actually gives in so it's a good thing to stock Potions or Cure in all your command slots. Riku starts with a dash like attack, so quickly Dodge Roll to the side, then lay into him. Then either two things will happen. 1. He will create a Dark Shield which you can either recover, or go around him and deal some more damage. 2. He will slash at you. You should block and then deal out some more damage. A good habit to get into is to block his attaks, then pull a combo on him, and repeat.

Second Battle

Riku now has two new attacks. He can teleport, and he can stab the ground, sending several types of Bug Blox outwards to dmage you. Use the same strategy as before, blocking then attacking. If he teleports into the middle of the air, quickly Dodge Roll away, or try and jump over the Blox, but this requires great timing.

Third Battle

It seems Riku gains a new power every round. Great confidence booster. But don't fret as this is the last battle. Rikus new move is a Sonic Blade-like attack,, where he dashes from wall to wall in a great ball of Dark Energy. Repeated Dodge Rolling should work. Once again, the block-attack strategy should still work. When he gets into his last bar of health, you shouldn't worry about Blocking anymore, as any of his attacks could be fatal. Just go absolutely nuts on him, attacking any chance you get, and healing when necessary.
