Mega Flare (メガフレア, Mega Furea) is a Sleight in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Ultimate-class Magic Command in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and a Finish Command in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. Once used, the caster fires a fireball that, upon impact of an enemy, creates a blinding, screen-distorting explosion that heavily damages all enemies on screen.

It should be noted that the Mega Flare in the International releases of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is made weaker, since the Japanese version's Mega Flare is proven to be too powerful. In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, it takes up two slots in the Command Deck. It has a maximum level of 6, and its reload time is 50 seconds.

In Hollow Bastion library, in a room that, when activate the switch, three columns of Bug Bloxes rise. On the top of one of the columns, there is a Rare Prize Block that contains Mega Flare. It should be noted that Mega Flare is only available in Story Mode due to the appearance of the Bug Blox columns.

Mega Flare is a recurring attack in the Final Fantasy series. It often appears as the Summon creature Bahamut's signature attack. It is depicted as an upgraded form of the Flare spell, and deals massive non-elemental damage to all enemies.
