Lock-On is a game feature throughout the Kingdom Hearts series. It helps the player focus on attacking one target and also to help control the game's camera better during combat. The character may jump if the enemy is too high up in the air. However, the Lock-On may wear off if the player gets too far from the enemy or the enemy disappears.

Kingdom Hearts (game), Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II

Press the R1 button.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Rapidly press the R button twice to lock on to an enemy; cycle to the next target by pressing the R button once. Rapidly press the R button twice to quit lock on.
