'''Void Gear''' is a [[Keyblade]] wielded by [[Vanitas]] in the prequel ''[[Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep]]''. It was revealed in the [[Kingdom Hearts Ultimania|''Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep'' Ultimania]] that Vanitas is able to wield this weapon because he is the embodiment of fellow Keyblade wielder [[Ventus]]'s darkness. [[Vanitas Remnant]] retains a monochrome version of this Keyblade, though that is the only difference between the two. In the English release of ''Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep'', the Keyblade can be obtained by Terra, Ventus, and Aqua if they defeat Vanitas Remnant. Currently, the Keyblade is only available in the English releases, and has no Japanese name as of yet.
