It has a blue dog-like appearance with the Heartless symbol on its behind, and mostly relies on instincts during battle. A pack of them are seen attacking [[Meg]] in the Underworld, before getting scared off by [[Sora]]. The ''[[Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+]]'' version of the Rabid Dog is pink.

| Rabid Dogs are some of the most harmless enemies. Most of the time, they will stand, and look at Sora, falling asleep from time to time. However, sometimes they may bark, which causes a sound wave, dealing a large amount of damage, especially at low levels. On Proud mode their attack is truly devastating. Rabid Dogs tend to appear in packs.
