The Star is a deck of Cards that can be wielded by Luxord in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to The Star+.

Design[edit]

The cards in The Star deck have an oblong shape. They sport three diamonds, one on the top, which is elongated, and two in each of the bottom corners of the card. Each diamond is split into four sections that alternate in color from white to lilac. They also have three grey teardrop shapes on their faces; one on the bottom and two in the upper corners. The long sides of the cards each have a circular chunk cut out of them. The borders of the cards are black, as are the borders of the individual shapes on the faces of the cards. The lower half of the backs of these cards are grey, while the upper halves are light grey, and the border on the back is white.

The Star is one of twenty-two cards that make up a Tarot deck's Major Arcana. It is numbered XVII (17).

Gameplay[edit]

The Star's ground combo starts with Luxord throwing his cards forwards in a boomerang-like fashion, followed by throwing a line of cards forwards then flipping them over, and ends with large versions of the cards protruding from the ground around him.

The aerial combo consists of Luxord throwing his cards forwards in a boomerang-like fashion twice, before riding a larger version of one the cards like a surfboard while performing a forward 360° spinning attack with larger versions of the cards held in each hand.
