The "red cord" as the article calls it seems to be HIGHLY reminiscent of Aerith's own ribbon, and is similar to the ones that the cast of FFVII wear in Advent Children.

Just wondering what it is and how it works. By the name, it sounds like how far back a Keyblade will go when it hits something like a wall. However, when I tested that theory, they all went back the same distance. Which brings me back to the question, what is Recoil?
