well acuatley they do work together in a way in kh1 you see that maleficent travels to the other villans worlds and helps them  out and you see this in Aggrabah when Maleficent is seen walking with Jafar talking about Jasmine and how to capture her they do communicate with each other to plan out how to get the job done and then they just go to their world or a different world to do their job which is just like the org. does as you see in days where they send them out to world to do various jobs. so yea i'm a big disney villan fan and they diserve a place.

Even Axel wasn't technically using it as a curse. He wasn't cursing anything, he was using it for emphasis. Maleficent was actually closer to cursing someone (by suggesting that she will expose them to the powers of hell; it was a threat/curse, not just emphasis). And also, Maleficent was the only one to canonly curse since Axel's line in Re:Chain of Memories was changed to "try to make it enjoyable Sora." -I don't think she has been. I think that the Maleficent seen in Coded and Re:coded was the digital Maleficent, created by the writings of Jiminy's Journal. It would explain why none of those pixelly stuff appears when she teleports, or why she seems to have turned into a complete idiot ("Data world? I care nothing for such nonsense!"). I mean, sure she has made a fool of herself before, but she's still very clever nonetheless.
