Eternal Nothingness XIII - Terra Master Symbol.png I'm not afraid of what the darkness holds now. Even if you do wrest control of my heart from me, even if you cast me into the deepest, darkest abyss, you'll never sway me from the one cause that pushes me to keep on fighting. Whatever the cost, I'm ready to pay it.

Earthshaker Keychain KHBBS.png I personally don't find anything wrong with our current Parasite Grave image. What's wrong with it?

It's such a shame. The Organization used to be the rope that bound us together. - 05:54, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Keyblade-Blk.png We use the in-game renders for every article. This one is artwork.

Earthshaker Keychain KHBBS.png Yes. I was already made aware before this post. Sorry for your trouble.

The in-game renders are going to look like crap, though. I mean, just looking at the weapon renders we've tried to use, you can't see a thing.

Keyblade-Blk.png I'm sure the guides will have the renders, we can just scan them... At least I would hope so. I'm talking about the kind below, I don't know if this is what you meant.

Strategy suggestion[edit]

Having just beat this behemoth on Proud, I figured I should share what I know, so people have a little more than "luck" to go off of. Taking lots of curative magic is an excellent idea, as mentioned, as is ignoring the Tentaclaws. Killing the Leechgrave depends on consistent good timing. Mobility is vital: take Air Slide, at level 2 at least. I used a weapon with superior air combos... ground combos may work, but don't take a weapon that reduces mobility. Dodge Roll seemed to work well also, but I couldn't time it as well. Get close to it (within the circle of roots) and run (Air Slide, in my case) away. This teases out its nasty melee attack. Once it does that attack, it won't do it again for about 5 seconds... enough time for a full combo with the Keyblade. It will likely do that attack again, so run away, and attack again once the attack's done. Reasons to stop attacking the get the hell out: if you notice that it's going to attack, if it makes a poison cloud, if it turns the back of the coffin toward you, or if any Tentaclaws appear close to the coffin (it's devastating if they interrupt). If it's been more than a few seconds since your last attack, tease out the attack again before charging in. Don't Limit Break! You'll probably get killed by the melee attack if you do. Keep your health up instead. If you're low on life, you can use Cura and sit behind the gate--it's perfectly safe there. --98.223.106.72 05:59, October 8, 2009 (UTC)

You should actually go after the Tentaclaws first, not using any magic at all other than cure, cura, or curaga because it is ineffective. Shortcut cure, cura, high potion, and potion. Use mega potions only when you are very far into the Limit Zone or you have no other form of healing yourself. Curaga works well if you hide behind one of the rocks and just wait there for a couple of seconds. I would also bring some ethers to restore magic. If the Tentaclaw you are going after is near the Leechgrave then switch to another one because the ghostly arms attack kills you in one blow, no matter how much health you have. Once you are on the last Tentaclaw let it hit you until you can use Limit Break and then kill it and rush into the main body of the Leechgrave and unleash you Limit Break. This will take out about two and a half bars of life. Do this strategy once more, still using the Limit Break and then switch to just regular attacking. Remember, the ghostly hands attack is fatal, so don't go near!(if you can buy and Auto Life panel do so)

I have several problems with this strategy.

  1. It is very item and magic intensive, which, especially for this game, is to be avoided.
  2. Especially on higher difficulties, it takes too long to defeat just one Tentaclaw without Fire, and it's rather dangerous.
  3. It uses "I", which is unencyclopedia.
  4. The ghostly arm attack isn't fatal, on any difficulty level.
  5. The Leechgrave takes some time to fall down after the last Tentaclaw is defeated, so most of a Limit Break is wasted.

TerraCharm.pngActually, it should just be removed because it contradicts everything else in the strategy contained above it.

Tentaclaw[edit]

Earthshaker Keychain KHBBS.png When/where was it confirmed that the Tentaclaws were mere extensions of the Leechgrave? When was the merge ever agreed upon/authorized?

The enemy profile makes it abundantly clear that Tentaclaws are the arms of the Leechgrave. As for the merge (1) It's the same thing we did with Shadow Stalker/Dark Thorn and Possessor/Thresholder, and (2) The merge tag was up for a few weeks with no objections.

TerraCharm.pngAll right... failed to notice that. But it never says in the profile to my notice. If you look at the merged articles, we combine the names. Could we do the same here?
