Can anyone think of Daybreak Town's location? From what I know, KHχ takes place ~1000 years before Birth By Sleep, during the Keyblade War. After the war, what happened to Daybreak Town? Was it swallowed by darkness, destroyed by it, or does it perhaps still exist, albeit lost and abandoned? I wonder if anyone else has wondered about this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sayuri (talkcontribs)

Hm. it was probably devoured by darkness. RikutheBloody 00:24, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
I would think that it would have to, at the very least, be referenced or mentioned in KH3. KHχ is canon, so Daybreak Town has to be involved somewhat. --Sayuri (talk) 00:56, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
Or maybe it could just be a tutorial world. RikutheBloody 01:00, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

Twilight Town[edit]

Does KHX ever mention Twilight Town? This one's name seems to be an obvious reference."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 16:44, 28 March 2016 (UTC)

Story[edit]

This is an enormous amount of storyline to follow. Does it need to be reduced? (I haven't played KHx so I am not sure.) yAgIogp.pngANX219 02:12, 14 April 2016 (UTC)

Go here to watch all of KHX fandubbed in english. I actually haven't been there to watch in a while so I'm a bit behind. I left off at #20. Rex Ronald Rilander (talk) 02:17, 14 April 2016 (UTC)

On the Heartless that appear there[edit]

The Heartless section for Daybreak Town, does it ONLY include Heartless that appear in the story, or does it involve Union Cross mode and Event modes as well? TRSNX 12:21, 29 July 2017 (UTC)

That's a good questions. For the browser game I only included Heartless that appeared as story enemies or otherwise regularly (during free exploration) on the list, meaning you could open the game at any time and encounter them. That's the reason you won't find event enemies there and only regular raid bosses.
In Unchained/Union X the Fortress Crab is no regular raid boss anymore and a lot more enemies appear regularly in Daybreak Town missions, like the Diver, Burrfish, Ferocious Fins, a lot of Heartless formerly exclusive to some worlds and/or events in the browser game.
From my point of view such a list makes only sense if it's always right or specific enough to explain the criteria of certain appearances (e.g. "only during the Christmas event in 2017" or "only during the Union Cross campaign of June 2018" for something like that). --ShardofTruth 17:07, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
Do we have any sort of archive of which heartless appeared where in KHX?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 15:24, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
Also, do we have anything denoting the regular raid boss in KHX?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 15:25, 9 May 2019 (UTC)

World icon[edit]

So I found a pretty nice picture of the world icon from Union X's theatre mode and wondered if we should replace the image in the "World" part of the infobox with this? BuddyFaith (talk) 18:49, 29 March 2018 (UTC)

If you look at the other world icons from the game you'll notice that it's always a collage of a world icon from a previous game with a world's character. This is why we abstained from using these icons until now, always hoping some kind soul at Square Enix would release the real Daybreak Town icon one day.
Anyway, it's been almost five years now without such an icon appearing, so I guess we could use this one. --ShardofTruth 14:09, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
Agreed. It actually shows part of the world icon, rather then just the Fountain Square, what we're using now. TheSilentHero 16:30, 30 March 2018 (UTC)

When happen this?[edit]

First, sorry for my english...i don't know.

I was reading Daybreak Town article and see this: "Player comes across the Moogle again, who asks that Player take the Light Drawing Bangle to extract Lux from Raid Bosses for him. After Player does so, the Moogle meets with an unseen figure in an alley. The Moogle questions why the figure did not give Player the Bangle themselves, who claims it to be too soon for that and they would need the guilt-ridden Moogle's help in the future" but i don't remember this in the game and theater mode or even youtube i can not find it.

somebody can help me, please? in what mission or KH Ux happen? is in KHx or KHUx?

And other question... the mission of the gummi ship is only in KHUX or no? because i was watching video on youtube about this game but... this scene i dont find in KHx only in KHux :S

i hope this is well write here and somebody can answer, thanks!!

May your heart be your guiding key ^^ —Preceding unsigned comment added by Xavlas (talkcontribs)

The crystals of light event only happened in the browser version, Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], as of now. You can find translations of the two cutscenes here: https://youtu.be/MEyN-O9zXzo and https://youtu.be/2rrxMR5A9ls
The 1st Anniversary of the browser version also contained the gummi block event, that is part of the main story of KHUX now while the 2nd Anniversary was about the Moogle of Glory event, that is contained as the weekend special quests in KHUX. In the 1st Anniversary of KHUX event quests on the other hand Mickey returns once more, so this one is exclusive to KHUX after all. --ShardofTruth 17:25, 23 April 2018 (UTC)

World?[edit]

Isn't Daybreak Town just, well, a town, and not an entirely separate world? The Age of Fairy Tales is a period where it's specifically mentioned that all the worlds were one (like a giant land-mass). Which would mean Daybreak Town is just that, a town, inside the World? --65.35.64.144 22:23, 11 September 2018 (UTC)

I guess you would be correct if the setting of KHX/KHUX wouldn't be kept this vague on purpose. We don't know exactly when or where Daybreak Town exists, so we use the information the games give us. They treat Daybreak Town as a single world in the classical sense of the other games (with logo, icon and even selection screen in KHUX), so on the wiki we do the same.
The only quote we have on this matter is Ephemer in Quest 362: ": There are lots of worlds, right? And they're all connected by land. But it's impossible to go around all of them. That's why there's a mechanism that projects those worlds here and allows us to collect Lux from far away lands." So he still calls those places worlds, even if they are connected by land. --ShardofTruth 17:38, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
Well, he does also call them "lands" in the same sense as "countries" in your above quote... But I do have to agree that it's being kept stupidly vague. Probably so it's easier to retcon in the future if Nomura writes himself into a corner again lol. But yeah, fair enough. Use what's given. --65.35.64.144 19:05, 27 September 2018 (UTC)

The Keyblade Wielder from the "A New Friend?" Event Quest[edit]
