Why have we affiliated with this wiki? The KH3 Fanon Wiki is completely devoid of any activity or improvement to itself, it just sits there collect dust. I am not expected any further enhancement to that wiki, since it has been around since February 2010, and has almost ''nothing'' to show for it. What we want is something with the same or a similar subject as the ''Kingdom Hearts'' Wiki, but does have something else to offer viewers when they click that "Related Sites" button. :There are only two users now, but it's too early to decry it. Just like how it initially was for KHF and KHFrancophone. Of course, with KHFrancophone, Unbirth decided to make us affiliates when our to-be third admin, Thomaskh2, came along. Now KH3F may be far from even complete, but the fact remains that they're willing to be on the same subject, and that they've only got two active users. Dead or not, unlike a person, it can be revived. Also, I'm going with BK's decision which was posted in the archives. Even then the wiki was struggling. On the other hand, Disney Wiki seems like a definitely possible future affiliate, and affiliating with them may help us resolve the issue we have recent had with our... "shared" content. In addition, we should try to reach out to sites other than wikis! Lots of ''Kingdom Hearts'' fan and news sites exist out there. Just a suggestion, but since TNE recently mentioned an podcast interview with Vexen's voice actor on the Kingdom Hearts World Podcast, I've been thinking that maybe we can affiliate with some? Since ''Final Fantasy Type-0 HD'' came out, I've been visiting the [http://www.finalfantasyunion.com/ Final Fantasy Union]'s website to listen to interviews and [http://www.kingdomheartsunion.com/ they have a sister podcast for ''Kingdom Hearts'']. And if you listen to some of their recent interviews, they seem to be working with Square Enix in order to conduct their interviews, too. The FFWiki use the interviews from there for their characters' development sections. ::Yeah, I have no problem with that. For some of the interviews, I submitted questions. XD Not all of them were chosen, but when they were, it made me happy. Sice's VA said she liked my username. ^ /// ^ Anyway, podcasts sites also acts as news site, too. So, it's no different from affiliating with sites like KHInsider. Besides, their connections with SE might come in handy (e.g. citing VAs and expanding the development sections). I'll only contact them if the rest of the wiki agrees. We are a community, after all. Regarding [http://www.kingdomheartsworld.net/ Kingdom Hearts World Podcast], should affiliate with them. I took a look at their website. Seems pretty barren, but I think it's because they recently switched severs. Hey, so I've noticed a couple of our affiliates don't link to us and some are no longer even in existence. I've been thinking that we should go through them and see who still links, who still wants to affiliate with us, and take down whoever doesn't want to anymore. What do you guys think? In addition to this, GrandPyromania only links to us in his videos of his ''Kingdom Hearts'' "Let's Play!", and we are not mentioned anywhere else in his information. Our other YouTube affiliate links to us in their information box, which is a bit more convenient. Should we take action on this, or just let it fly since there is some form of linking (though it is small and diminutive)?
:Agreed. As for the affilation with Final Fantasy Union, I never approached them with an affiliation request since I was waiting more users to voice their opinions and get the OK. Alright, update: I've contacted both Spyro Wiki and KHPlanet. Nothing changed at Spyro Wiki since the last time we asked (I think Xion asked a couple years ago). They still want to be affiliated, just like they said last time. But they didn't put a link at all after last time. I kind of want to give them until the end of the week or something to see if anything changes. If not, I say we remove them; they don't seem to want to link with us even though they say we're affiliated. As for KHPlanet, just confirmed this afternoon that they're affiliate page is down, a result of recent website updates, so they're still good. The webmaster told me he'd try and have the affiliates page back up this week. The two YouTube channels, I had a question. We're actually linked in all their Kingdom Hearts-related videos, but not on the actual channels. Do you guys fell that's enough? I kinda feel like it's fine just like that; wouldn't expect a channel that does all kinds of video game walkthroughs to link us on their actual channel. {{KeybladeSpyMaster/Sig}} 22:14, 30 August 2017 (UTC)
