An often thought discussion about '''Kingdom Hearts III''', other than when it is coming out, is what ''console'' it is going to be on. It is more than likely that is will be on a console than a handheld system, seeing that all the previous mainly main games (by that I mean [[Kingdom Hearts (game)|I]] and [[Kingdom Hearts II|II]]) were released on consoles (PS2 and PS2 respectivelly). 

So then the question still remains: what console will it be on? Choices: PS3, Xbox 360, or Wii. There are many ways to look at this, and I will post them. Behold! Benifits of the PS3:
*Square Enix ''does'' seem to prefer Sony more, as seen many times in that most of the Final Fantasy games come out on those systems.
*Here we have wonderful graphics and resolution that totally beat out any other console! 1080p HD!
*Just by looking at [[w:c:finalfantasy:Final Fantasy XIII|Final Fantasy XIII]] and how the characters look very real, just imagine the KH characters in their shoes. Huh? Huh?

Benefits of the Xbox 360:
*Most of the stuff are like the PS3. And studies show that recent games are exclusive to PS3 and Xbox 360, as a duo.

Benefits of the Wii:
*Disney seems to favor Nintendo more than anything else.
*With the Wii MotionPlus, you could probably swing your Keyblade with the Wii-mote in a manner quite [[w:c:zeldapedia:The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword|Skyward Sword]]-esque!

So there we have it, folks. Which would you prefer:

The whole KH series should have a remake that features the whole story in a single multi-disc pack. This is fans that dont have money to buy consoles just to play the game. This should be done for all consoles.

Graphics is a secondary concern regarding Kingdom Hearts. When it comes to KH, Nomura could care less. We would have already seen Birth by Sleep on the PS3 by now, but it's not. Games are not about graphics when fun is the first priority when it comes to gameplay with KH. When KHIII does come out, it'll most likely be seen on the Wii supporting the Motion Plus so that people will be able to play the game as if the were actually wielding the Keyblade. Tryin' to get a KH game on the PS3 is telling me you only care about graphics more than playability and fun. Nomura has really done all he can on a normal console alone and he's always wanted to approach drastically different directions with gameplay with each installment. {{Galexgan|time=09:51, August 21, 2010 (UTC)|terra2= While PS3 may keep the gameplay of the previous two games on PS2, it's upped graphics just wouldn't fit, I like the fancy highly detailed cutscenes occasionally but I like the simplistic cartoon feel more. It's like looking at what they did to Marluxia in the opening video, they made his hair more realistic and in the process (in my opinion), made it look highly funny, where as I liked the style they had for him in game. The Wii would best fit the game series in that one, it would be the first really good game for the Wii... (I haven't loved any that I've played yet, unless you count Smash Bros. Brawl but thats a different game genre.) and two it has very similar graphics to PS2 so that it would be able to continue the series in it's simplistic yet artistic way. Let me conclude with me saying, Kingdom Hearts is most definetly NOT Final Fantasy and while certain things are all well and fine for FF it is not for KH.(Err... also  not to mention the PS3 is under because of the sky high pricing they tagged the PS3's with and then with an attempt to lower the price removed a crucial thing... the ability to play PS2 games as well... also they have a cheap knock-off with their motion thing like the Wii... and they just keep failing... OH! And last thing, X-Box is not the system for KH, look at all of the games, Halo, Gears of War, it's all too M for KH, if anything I hope it's the Wii, but I would settle for X-Box because cheaper pricing and good game series with definetly good graphics.}}

It has been revealed that it can be used for the Wii. Does that mean the Wii can get a step-up? I mean really, Square Enix should be able to push the limits of the Wii up to that it's near-on-par with those big HD consoles (thought not as vibrant and crisp as those but still pretty good).}}

|text= It should be on PS3 and Xbos360 because like it or no they are in it to sell it. So they will make it as easy to get as possible with it still in good quality (this is why it won't be on the Wii). Plus not everyone can aford to get a PS3 if they already bought an Xbox360!

I'm hoping for the wii for the simple reason that it's the console I own. I wholeheartedly doubt that the Xbox would get it (because it hasn't gotten a KH yet), and hope (but acknowledge that it'll probably happen) that it doesn't go to ps3, or goes to both wii and ps3. The wii actually has high definition capabilities, but not to the extent of the PS3 and RroD 360. I don't think any games have taken advantage of it yet, however. I hope that if it does go to wii, using motion control will be optional, or people (obsessive xbox and ps3 fanboys) will just mark it as a "waggle-fest", and it'll suffer. {{KKDSig|1}}

I already put this on another forum thingy. I personally prefer and believe this game would work out best on PS3 and nothing else. No Xbox, No Wii. Every console has it's strengths but with the upcoming (and awesome looking) FF Versus XIII exclusive to PS3 is utilising an awesome looking engine it looks like the PS3 is the way to go. In my opinion it would just seem unfitting on anything else and ever-so-slightly illogical to change current developement platforms. i think it can be on ps3 wii and xbox because ps3 wii and xbox have motion remotes to devices but it will be great on ps3 and xbox

I don't think Square Enix is very fond of Xbox (wasn't FF13 a PS3-exclusive in Japan and the XB360 one was done in other countries?), plus ''I'' think that Microsoft has a whole bunch of success with the internet, and they don't need to go to video games. To some people, graphics are more important while to others playing is more important. I believe that Nintendo CAN pull off everything that PlayStation and Xbox can do, and just because the last two Nintendo KH games weren't "perfect" for everyone, they just go and shun the company. I just want things to be equal for everybody and for people to see that Nintendo can pull off an awesome Kingdom Hearts game. Frankly, if graphics were more important than gameplay itself, arcade games would be a thing of the past. (Besides, the only way we would be able to see what Nintendo is truly capable of is if the KH Team works on a game for the Wii.)}}
