Dark Volley is a technique in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. It allows the user to launch dark projectiles at targets.

Story[edit]

Before Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep[edit]

When Xehanort visits Eraqus at the Land of Departure and tells Eraqus of his plan to forge the χ-blade, Eraqus tries to stop him by attacking. Xehanort uses Dark Volley against Eraqus, scarring his face.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep[edit]

To rescue Master Xehanort from Braig's clutches, Terra uses Dark Volley against Braig, causing him to lose an eye.

Mechanics[edit]

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Dark Volley is a Shotlock that has a maximum level of 5 and max lock of 18. After the initial volley, the player can perform extra attacks by repeatedly pressing X when prompted to fire additional bursts of darkness.
